The Maryland Company has "Class A" and "Class B" Uniform guidelines. The Class A uniform is our dress uniform, the Class B the field uniform. The primary difference between the Class A and Class B uniform is the wearing of the regimental coat. The regimental coat, designed by Major Rogers for his units, is green wool, faced green. Our Class B uniform is a field uniform, more suited to the rigors of campaigning.

Class A Uniform
  • Green Regimental Coat
  • Blue, Green or Brown Bonnet
  • Green Waistcoat
  • Brown, Grey or Checked Shirt
  • Green (Preferred) or Brown (Acceptable) Fly Front Breeches
  • Leggings, Buckskin (Preferred) or Wool (Black, Brown or Green Acceptable)
  • Moccasins, Leather or Elk Hide, Cen
    terseam or Puckertoe or Shoes, Straightlast with Buckle
  • Socks, Wool or Cotton, Any Color
  • Neckstock, Black Linen
Class B Uniform
  • Pullover Hunting Shirt or Colonial Work Shirt / No Fringe (Brown, Grey or Green)
  • Blue, Green or Brown Bonnet, Flop Hat or Tricorn
  • Green, Brown or Grey Waistcoat
  • Brown, Grey or Checked Shirt
  • Green (Preferred) or Brown (Acceptable)Fly Front Breeches
  • Leggings, Buckskin (Preferred) or Wool (Black, Brown or Green Acceptable)
  • Moccasins, Leather or Elk Hide, Center seam or Puckertoe or Shoes, Straight last With Buckle
  • Socks, Wool or Cotton

The following list of equipment is necessary for an accurate portrayal of the weapons and gear carried by Rogers’ Rangers during the French & Indian War.

The following clothing and equipment list is for our "Distaff" or members who do not take to the field (spouses, children, others).

Children will normally wear the same clothing as an adult male or female, minus the weapons.

NOTE: You should consult your sponsor or one of the unit leaders before purchasing any of the above equipment to ensure you buy the correct items for the French & Indian War period. Don’t waste your hard-earned money!
